Research Overview

Professor Rastogi research interest is in tailoring molecular configuration during polymer synthesis with the aim to achieve unprecedented mechanical properties. The polymers having functionalities are processed to achieve recyclable products of societal requirement. In this process, he follows morphological and structure developments at the molecular length scale, under defined quiescent and flow conditions, and investigates the underlying thermodynamics in both melt and solid-state. His group makes use of several advanced characterization techniques and eco-friendly processing methods, including additive manufacturing of polymers.
